RPO Recruitment's client, in the food manufacturing industry, are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Supervisor to join their team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food manufacturing and a proven track record of leading a team to meet production goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the production floor, ensuring that production targets are met on time and within budget
• Coordinate with other departments such as quality control, maintenance, and logistics to ensure smooth production processes
• Train, develop, and mentor production staff to ensure they are performing at their highest potential
• Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all employees
• Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to increase efficiency and reduce waste

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in food science, engineering, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years experience in a production supervisor role in the food manufacturing industry
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
