Professional Architect or Senior Architectural Technologist at GIBB Engineering and Architecture

Key Performance Areas (KPAs)

• Lead, develop and manage design, development, and delivery of projects.
• Produce design documentation aligned to the design brief.
• Assist the management team with the coordination of the project team and program.
• The ability to develop design options in collaboration with the design team.
• Utilising BIM Software and other industry software and equipment to prepare project designs and construction documentation.

Strong skills are required in:

• Revit;
• MS Office;
• Adobe Software.
• Works in tandem with highly collaborative multi-discipline design teams.
• Engage proactively in the design and production discourse and processes in the Cape Town office.
• Ability to work independently, and to prescribed deadlines and standards.
• Leadership skills, both inside the office with colleagues, and outside the office with professionals and clients.
• Contribute to the office culture and the success of the SVA brand.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

• Master's in Architecture (M.Arch), or an Advanced Diploma in Architectural Technology (AdArchT).
• Professional SACAP registration.

Experience and Skills

• Minimum of 5 years’ professional experience.
• Experience in all architectural work stages, with an emphasis on work stages 4-6.
• Experience in managing the JBCC contract, or similar
