Grade1: None Grade2: A minimum of 10 years recognisable experience in nursing after registration with the SANC as a Professional Nurse in General Nursing. Grade 3: A minimum of 20 years recognisable experience in nursing after registration with the SANC as a Professional Nurse in General Nursing.
Minimum Educational Qualification:
Basic R425 qualification (i.e. diploma/degree in nursing) or equivalent qualification (R683 plus R880) that allows registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Professional Nurse.
Duties
Ensure quality patient care regarding the identification of nursing care needs, the planning & implementation of nursing care and the education of nursing & other personnel. Render advanced clinical nursing care and support clinical staff with surgical & medical procedures. Utilize human, material and physical resources efficiently and effectively. Maintain professional growth/ethical standards and self- development. Display of core values of the Department of Health WCG in the execution of duties.
