Project Finance Accountant at Aurecon

What you will do:

In this position you will join our Finance team (based in East London, South Africa) that requires a well-rounded, experienced individual that is able to assist unit managers, and project directors with effective financial management of their allocated unit projects. • Apply your sound understanding of Project Financial Accounting
• Assist the unit leader to manage the finances of the unit and assist technical staff with their project finances
• Register and maintain projects, revenue recognition, adjust project budgets, analyse project WIP and variances
• Analysing of the Income Statement
• Process invoices and follow up on outstanding debtors.
• Assist with compilation of information used for monthly reporting and annual budgets
• Process and reconcile petty cash and cashbook
• Apply your very good interpersonal skills

What you can bring to this team:

You will also need a relevant Bachelor’s Degree in Finance with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in finance within a Professional Services environment.
