Project Management Specialist: Sunbet at Sun International

Job Purpose:

• The Project Management Specialist will be responsible for providing a wide range of project support of a responsible, confidential nature as part of the Sunbet Project Management Team in order to ensure a seamless and consistent delivery to all clients, as well as internal and external stakeholders and ensuring alignment with to legislation and regulations.
• This will include co-ordinating, planning, tracking, delivering and operational input for projects as agreed in line with Sunbet’s targets, budgets and relevant policy, procedures and standards.

Job Requirements

Job Scope:

• Develop comprehensive project plans that outline scope, objectives, schedules, resource requirements, and deliverables to guide the project team effectively
• Coordinate internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure all aspects of each project are compatible and aligned with SunBet goals
• Manage the execution of projects from initiation through closure, ensuring that project objectives are achieved on time, within scope, and within budget
• Track, capture and document all project interactions, issues, decisions, and resolutions to maintain transparency, accountability and a clear audit trail
• Monitor project progress continuously using appropriate project management tools, and adjust plans and schedules as necessary ensuring timely completion
• Identify and proactively manage project risks and issues, developing mitigation and contingency plans to minimise potential disruptions
• Facilitate effective communication across all levels of the project, serving as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, team members, and external partners
• Prepare and deliver detailed status reports, presentations, and project documentation to inform stakeholders of progress, changes, and outcomes
• Ensure all project deliverables meet the required quality standards, by implementing quality assurance processes and conducting regular reviews
• Lead post-project evaluations and lessons-learned sessions to identify areas for improvement and share best practices for future projects
• Recommend and implement improvements to project management methodologies and processes, contributing to the continuous enhancement of the SunBet’s project delivery capability
• Assist in the development and maintenance of project management standards, templates, and tools to promote consistency and efficiency across the organisation
• Facilitate project governance and compliance by ensuring projects adhere to internal policies, regulatory requirements, and audit standards
• Keep up to date with Sunbet product knowledge and all client-facing technology

Qualification:

• Degree in business management/ project management/BCom 
• Certification in project management preferred

Experience:

• 6-8 years’ experience managing and delivering on business projects, using recognised project methodologies, and related change management
• Experience overseeing multi-functional project teams
• Demonstrated experience in using appropriate tools: Agile Project Management tools such as Asana, Jira/Greenhopper, Trello, Monday.com or equivalent
• Online gaming and sports betting industry exposure is preferable
