Job Purpose:
- To plan, execute, and deliver farm projects efficiently, ensuring operational and strategic objectives are met. The Project Manager will lead cross-functional teams, coordinate contractors and resources, manage risks, monitor progress, and communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum education (essential):
- National Senior Certificate (Matric)
- Degree or Diploma in Agriculture, Engineering, Project Management, or related field
Minimum applicable experience (years):
- 4 + years' proven experience in practical project management
Required nature of experience:
- End-to-end project management (planning, execution, monitoring, and closure)
- Managing budgets, timelines, contractors, and internal teams
- Delivering projects in operational environments with minimal disruption
Skills and Knowledge (essential):
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of project management methodologies
- Proficiency in project management software
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong risk management and quality control skills

- Coordinate with farm management to align projects with operational and strategic goals

- Lead and motivate project teams, including farm staff, contractors, and suppliers
