Project Manager: Platform Engineering at Optimal Growth Technologies

Role Purpose

• The Project Manager is responsible for the end-to-end execution of platform engineering initiatives, ensuring delivery of scalable, secure, and resilient technology platforms aligned to companies strategic objectives.

Job Accountabilities

Programme & Delivery Management

• Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and milestones
• Drive delivery across cloud, infrastructure, and security initiatives
• Manage cross-team dependencies and delivery risks

Stakeholder & Governance Management

• Act as primary delivery interface to stakeholders
• Facilitate governance forums and reporting
• Ensure compliance with governance and regulatory standards

Financial & Commercial Management

• Manage CAPEX and OPEX budgets
• Track financial performance and support cost optimisation

Risk & Issue Management

• Maintain RAID logs
• Manage Escalations and risk mitigation

Reporting & Delivery Assurance

• Produce executive reports
• Track KPIs and delivery performance
• Delivery Timeliness, Budget Adherence, Risk Mitigation, Stakeholder Satisfaction, Governance Compliance
• Cloud platforms, Platform engineering, DevOps, Stakeholder management, Leadership

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree in IT or Engineering
• 8–12 years experience
• PMP/Prince2
• Agile certifications preferred
