This role suits someone with construction experience who understands the practical realities of waterproofing work and is equally comfortable managing the administrative side of projects. You’ll oversee timelines, teams, quality, client expectations, documentation, and day-to-day site progress.
Key Responsibilities
Manage waterproofing projects from planning through to completion
Coordinate site teams, materials, suppliers, and schedules
Monitor workmanship, quality, deadlines, and project costs
Maintain accurate project records, reports, and administration
Track project information and prepare updates using Excel
Communicate with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders
Identify risks, resolve site issues, and keep projects moving
Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards
Requirements
Proven Project Management experience
Construction industry experience is essential
Waterproofing experience is essential
Strong administrative and organisational skills
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Strong site coordination and problem-solving ability
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Good communication and client-facing skills
Education
A relevant qualification in Project Management, Construction, Building, or a related field would be advantageous.
Soft Skills
Confident, dependable, proactive, and calm under pressure. Strong attention to detail, leadership skills, and a hands-on approach are important.
Salary:
Up to R20,000 per month. The offer will be market related in line with your qualifications, skills and experience.
