Projects and Controls Manager at GIBB Engineering and Architecture

Core Purpose

KGA currently recruiting for a Project and Controls Manager (PCM) with experience in multidisciplinary EPCM in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical or similar sector to provide support to our client in the execution of projects. The Project and Controls Manager will be functionally responsible for project controls focusing on project planning, cost engineering, capital cost estimation and controls, risk management, quality management and change control services in support of the Project Manager. The PCM will further work closely and in consultation with all discipline leads and client representatives when reviewing project performances with regards to cost, technical requirements, and quality to ensure the achievement of the project budget and schedule.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• The experience must be in project management, controls and delivery of Multidisciplinary Capital projects in the Petro-Chemical environment.
• Interfacing and/or project and controls working experience with Sasol as an added advantage
• Understand all aspects of projects and be able to coordinate and maximize efficiency
• Thorough Project management and Project execution knowledge, organizational, time management, leadership, and decision-making skills
• The ability to work with multiple projects
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of applicable policies, standards, and best practices
• The prior experience with interfacing with Sasol and have existing relationships within the Sasol Organisation will be an added advantage

Qualifications:

• Degree or diploma in Engineering or Construction Management
• Professional Registration with SACPCMP as a Pr. CMP

Experience:

• Minimum 10 years related experience with at least 5 years of the experience gained in Multidisciplinary engineering and construction projects
• Working experience with Sasol
• Previous Sasol Partnership Contract Knowledge
