    Promotions Specialist

    Short Description / Purpose of Job

    • Supports the Manager Promotions to develop, execute, and monitor marketing promotions programs across a variety of channels. Their work includes researching the market, analysing trends to support define the organization's promotions strategy, and providing advice as to how to best reach the target market.

    Recruitment Description / Key Accountabilities

    • Compiling of an annual promotion plan according to the promotions strategy and objectives, this includes B2B and B2C site, regional and national based promotions
    • Compiling of internal annual promotional plan to harness brand loyalty from Sasol employees as brand ambassadors
    • Compiling of agency briefs and working with agency to develop promotional themes in adherence to promotion objectives and brand guidelines
    • Monitor and inspect all advertising and promotional material for adherence to specifications and brand guidelines.
    • Manage the performance of all promotions which includes but is not limited to tracking and reporting on the performance of all promotional activities
    • Leveraging tactical opportunities and partnerships to drive the promotions strategy forward
    • Support Manager Promotions with managing marketing agencies and suppliers including but not limited to contract management
    • Research and present industry related promotions trend and innovations in line with targeted audience to the Manager Promotions and broader Brand Marketing team
    • Contribute to the development and management of the annual promotional budget, ensuring that annual promotional calendar is delivered in full and on time

    Formal Education

    • University Bachelor’s Degree (Marketing or related qualification)
