Are you a Purchasing Manager with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to use data analytics to create meaningful, actionable, commercial insight?  We are looking for a person to be responsible for managing an efficient and effective procurement process by leading the Purchasing team and ensuring smooth Purchasing operations in support of Sales demands across the business.

As the Purchasing Manager you will be responsible for driving and optimum supply strategy and for reducing virtual stock ageing. You will maintain accurate data and records for use in purchasing reports and through your knowledge and expertise will continually identify process and systems improvements for operational efficiency. In this complex role you will interact constantly with Product specialists, the Sales team, Shipping, and the rest of the Purchasing team.

Requirements:

• CIPS Qualified (Level 3 or higher) - essential
• Tertiary qualification preferable (B Comm) 
• Advanced Excel skills
• Financial and business acumen, including deep knowledge of ERP systems
• 5+ years experience in Purchasing (distributor / vendor / reseller would be ideal)
• Driver’s License and own Transport

Work from Home Technical Requirements:

• Computer hardware and software will be provided by the company.
• Applicants must supply their own Internet connectivity.
• Applicants are responsible for creating a functional workspace at home.

Internet Service Requirements

• Internet access provided by a fibre provider
• DSL, satellite and wireless broadband is NOT ideal
• Minimum upload speed of 5 MBPS
• Minimum download speed of 10 MBPS
