QA Automation Engineer at DeARX Services (Pty) Ltd

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and implement the test automation strategy, including roadmap, tools, framework, and approach.
• Implement, maintain, and enhance test automation frameworks.
• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to integrate test automation into the Continuous Delivery pipeline.
• Proactively seek continuous improvements in test coverage, execution, and automation.
• Evaluate and select the best usage of test automation tools for different purposes.
• Conduct manual functional testing of UI and APIs.
• Build and maintain the automation test framework.
• Potentially get involved with UI (Angular) development.
• Contribute to the maintenance and extension of smart contracts and integrations with web3.

Role requirements:

• Proven experience in defining and operationalizing test automation strategy.
• Hands-on experience in creating and implementing test automation frameworks for large-scale systems in an agile development environment.
• Solid understanding of test-driven development, continuous integration, and continuous delivery.
• Expertise in agile and waterfall testing methodologies.
• In-depth knowledge of various testing techniques and methodologies.
• Experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber, NUnit/xUnit, or Robot Framework.
• Familiarity with Report Portal for reporting purposes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create functional and integration test automation scripts and integrate them with Continuous Integration and code coverage tools.

Technical requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience with Selenium.
• 3+ years of experience in both manual and automation testing.
• 3+ years of experience in any OOP programming language (e.g., Java, C#, Python).
• 3+ years of experience in any test automation framework (e.g., NUnit, TestNG, Robot Framework).
• Experience in testing REST APIs.
• Understanding of OOP concepts in programming languages.

Bonus Skills (not required, but beneficial):

• Experience in UI (Angular) development.
• Experience in maintaining and extending smart contracts and integrations with web3.
