QA Developer at Tripplo Software

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a QA Developer, whose primary function is to write and maintain automated tests that ensure the ongoing stability and code quality of the Tripplo product. This person is responsible for identifying and eliminating mistakes via CI/CD automation in our staging and production environments. 

We offer a high-growth potential environment where a developer will be able to make decisions that affect the development of our platform. You will be exposed to a wide variety of technologies, especially in the cloud service space (Amazon Web Services). 

Responsibilities: 

• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases 
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities 
• Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open-source and paid-for tools 
• Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs 
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved 
• Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs 
• Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements 
• Monitor debugging process results 
• Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions 
• Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts 
• Stay up to date with new testing tools and test strategies 

ABOUT YOU

• 3+ years working as a QA developer on software products 
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes 
• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases 
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools 
• Ability to write scripts in any modern programming language that serve as the code behind automated tests 
• Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus 

Advantageous: 

• Working in a Scrum / Agile environment 
• Experience with AWS 
• Some application development experience in the Front End and Backend
