Job Advert Summary    

• Clover is seeking to employ a suitably qualified and experienced Quality Advisor to join their Gqeberha Production team. The primary role of the position would be to ensure that food quality and safety systems are executed effectively.

Requirements    

• Relevant Bachelors Degree

Duties and Responsibilities    
Oversee the quality system in Production  

• Oversee the quality and food safety management system  
• Ensure that procedures are followed correctly regarding change control at Production level 
• Ensure validation studies for equipment, block flow diagram and process are available  
• Report/communicate to Production and PT&T on formulation, process changes etc. that will influence quality/food safety at plant level  
• Identify quality and food safety issues and help/support with specialist knowledge to solve the issues  
• Ensure that FSSC 22000 related training is done  

Oversee that the quality and food safety requirements are done  

• Provide support to Production regarding trials and processes  
• Ensure effective communication (written, verbal) eg. when new processes, products etc. are implemented by PT&T  
• Ensure all updates specifications from PT&T are issued and implemented per branch through the abovementioned system  
• Assist Production when product, packaging & raw material does not comply to specifications (concessions)  
• Ensure that work procedures are documented and implemented in production  

Investigate complaints, incidents and corrective actions regarding quality and food safety  

• Conduct, report and record investigations related to quality and implement corrective actions  
• Action the priorities and corrections with Production team  
• Liaise with Production regarding investigation of complaints  
• Monitor progress or corrective actions  

 Assist with Quality and Food safety Audits  

• Ensure that the facility is aware and available for all related audits  
• Validate that the relevant documentations are in place for the audit  
• Ensure that the corrective actions of previous findings are done  
• Ensure that proactive steps are taken to minimise risks, findings etc. in the system
