Quality Assurance Lead at IndSAfri

Job description:

• We are seeking a highly skilled QA Lead with a strong background in automation and performance testing. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of hands-on experience and will be responsible for closely working with Business Development Managers (BDMs) and Account Managers. This role requires a dynamic individual who can train and upskill testers, manage client interactions, and drive Proof of Concepts (POCs).

Responsibilities:

• Hands-On Testing (90%): Actively participate in client projects, providing hands-on support and expertise in automation and performance testing.
• Strategic Activities (10%): Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making processes.
• Training and Upskilling: Train and mentor testers to enhance their skills and knowledge.
• Client Interaction: Manage and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
• POC Ownership: Lead and drive POCs to demonstrate the value and capabilities of our testing solutions.
• Communication and Presentation: Exhibit excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey ideas and solutions.
• Agility and Flexibility: Be willing to stretch work hours as needed to meet project deadlines and client requirements.
• Problem Solving: Act as a go-getter and problem solver, proactively addressing challenges and finding solutions.
• Self-Management: Demonstrate the ability to manage oneself with minimal supervision, ensuring tasks and goals are achieved efficiently.

Qualifications:

• Total numbers of experience : Atleast 8+Years of relevant work exp in Software Automation testing using selenium and Java (8+ Years out of which at least few years into development and then with hands on automation testing - selenium and java and performance testing - Jmeter/Load runner)
• Candidates with a development background who have transitioned into testing roles are highly preferred.
• Proven ability to train and mentor team members.
• Team handling and leading atleast for 2 or 3 Years 
• Strong client management skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Ability to work in an agile environment and adapt to changing requirements.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• We are looking for candidates who can join immediately available to 30 days of notice period

Required/Must have Skills:

• At least 8 years of relevant work experience in automation testing using selenium and Java with performance testing (Jmeter/Load runner).
• At least 8+ Years of work experience as Software Automation tester/lead role or a similar role
• Min 2+ Years of work exp in leading the team
• Proficiency in Front and Back End and API automation testing.
• Experience with Appium and Mobile Testing.
• Strong technical skills in Java and Selenium.
• 5+ Years of relevant work exp in rest assured and cucumber
• Hands on experience with JMeter/Load runner.
• Understanding of Agile Concepts.
• Basic knowledge of DevOps practices, including Docker/Kubernetes.
• Basic understanding of SQL
