Quality Assurance Officer at ADvTECH

Overall Job Purpose

• The purpose of this role is to plan, execute, monitor, develop & document all aspects pertaining to quality assurance and accreditation compliance for Capsicum Culinary Studio.

Core Functions:

• Implementing, developing, reviewing and improving the quality management function aligned to CCS accrediting bodies and partners.
• Development and alignment of quality assurance policies.
• Supporting and monitoring of the accreditation process.
• Maintaining effective communications with internal and external stakeholders and associated administrative duties.
• Support of the academic development process including the alignment of curriculum and standard operating procedures as required by legislative and accrediting bodies / partners.
• Carrying out of moderation and audit functions, supporting assessment practices and policy/procedure implementation.
• Training and development in line with quality management function.
• Optimisation of system integrations in support of the quality management system and quality management function.

Requirements:

• SETA / NAMB registered Assessor – minimum of 2 years’ experience
• SETA / NAMB registered Moderator – minimum of 2 years’ experience
• Minimum NQF05 qualification (ideal - hospitality / culinary industry)
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in learning and development / training / education sectors
• Understanding of the OQSF and HEQSF frameworks, South African education landscape and skills development strategies
