    Quality Controller - eMalahleni

    Job Description    

    • Calibration of MMUs
    • Adherence to Calibration of MMUs, Scales and Lifting Equipment
    • Field support in other regions
    • On-bench calibration of MMUs and quality support
    • Perform engineering inspections, identify problems area and implement proactive maintenance
    • Be actively involved in World class initiatives
    • Perform safety and health inspections and implement corrective action
    • Perform any other related tasks as may be required from time to time
    • Ensure that quality specifications are met and operational losses are minimized
    • Comply with Safety, Health and Environment standards

    Qualifications & Experience    

    • Matric
    • Qualified Artisan (Trade Test/Red Seal) Electrical or Mechanical
    • Pneumatic, electric and hydraulic experience will be an advantage
    • Drive Licence
    • At least 5 years of relevant experience (preferably mining environment)
    • Must be able to perform overtime duties and standby
    • PLC fault-finding experience will be an advantage
    • Must have good communication skills, both verbal and written, as dealing with customers will be an essential part of the duties
