    Quality Inspectors - Incoming (Motors)

    Tasks & Responsibilities

    • Ensure the conformity of the product delivered
    • Visually and dimensionally inspect the raw material, goods received and products using handling measurements tools (Vernier, micrometer, tape measure, ruler, gauges) and write inspection reports
    • Analyze defects and create Non-Conformity Report-NCR (on SAP/GSI) and ensure the containment and corrective actions are defined.
    • Analyze and find the root cause of repetitive non-compliancy / reworks – QRCQ methods
    • Evaluate, certificate right fulfillment and approve Quality Documentation which were generated by suppliers
    • Supply the entire necessary document to complete the Delivery Log Book
    • Ensure all parts received are checked, identified and designated to their correct location on SAP/GSI
    • Follow the inspection plans defined for each product / part
    • Define the Demerit for each inspection / product
    • Attend the daily meeting in the receiving area
    • Understand and communicate the quality acceptance criteria to suppliers
    • Conduct and animate the containment actions on non-conforming parts / material
    • Support Supplier Quality with inspections at suppliers’ premises during Quality Wall
    • Support supply chain and industrial teams to apply improvement actions
    • Adhere to EHS guidelines and any other quality related processes

    Candidate Requirements
    Educational

    • Grade 12 with Mathematics and Science
    • Technical Qualification (N3 – N6) with technical drawing
    • MS Office literate (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
    • Good communication skills

    Experience

    • Technical knowledge with more than 3-5 years’ experience in quality, preferably in the Automotive industry
    • Experience in manufacturing
    • Welding, machining, painting and parts quality inspection experience
    • Working knowledge of Health & Safety standards

    Major KPI’s

    • Number of defects on receiving goods / at the delivery
    • Non-conformity treatment – curative / corrective
    • Inspection at the workstation – number of reworks, missing parts, NCR, derogations, modifications
    • Return of Experience at the workstation – decrease of the reworks
    • Reactivity to solve issues
