Quality Management Advisor at Rand Water

Minimum Requirements

• Diploma/B-Tech in Quality Management
• 5 years practical experience in Quality Management Systems
• 5+ years’ experience in implementation and maintenance of ISO 9001:2015
• 3 years SHEQ management system auditing – preferably as a Lead Auditor
• Knowledge of QMS related standards i.e. ISO 17025, ISO 19011.
• Knowledge of Business systems i.e. SAP, Business Process Mapping, Maintenance Management systems
• Knowledge of Total Quality Management Principles

Primary Duties

• To champion implementation and maintenance of ISO 9001 Quality Management System corporately.
• To draft, implement and continually improve Corporate Quality Compliance Manual and procedures.
• To be accountable for audits (internal and external) and resolution of findings on corporate and site level.
• Preparation of Rand Water ISO 9001 certification across the organisation.
• Coordinate and align all Quality Management System thought centralization/standardization of Quality Management Officers activities.
• Motivation for capital operational and supplementary aspects in Quality Management Systems.
• Monitor and control approved budgets and take corrective action on deviations.
• Carry-out training/awareness on Quality Management interventions.
• Liaise with Certification bodies and other applicable bodies.
• Stay abreast of imminent developments on the Quality Management matters i.e. ISO standards
• Analyse Quality Management reports and proposals to mitigate negative trends
• To be a Member of the Corporate Policy Review Committee meetings and custodian of document control procedure.
• Integration of Quality Management System into SHE.
• Develop a total quality culture of change in the organisation.
