• Experience in measuring and compiling of bills of quantities using WinQS and DimX
• Understanding and ability to carry out estimating function
• Experience in tender evaluation and reports
• Administer contracts i.e. assess progress, prepare interim payment certificates, perform on/off site re-measurement, assess variations, prepare variation orders and appropriate registers, prepare contract price adjustment and retention calculations
• Understanding and experience in standard construction & engineering contracts
• Prepare and settle final accounts
• Assist with evaluating and responding to contractual claims
• Implement budget control and associated change control on contracts
• Willing to work on project sites

The suitable candidate will also need to have the following skills and requirements

• You will also need a relevant technical qualification and be registered as a quantity surveyor or registered as a candidate quantity surveyor  
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Previous experience working in WinQS and DimX a prerequisite.
