Job Purpose    

• To provide reception and word processing functions.

Key Responsibility Areas    

• Undertake reception duties i.e. operating switchboard, attending to queries, screening and taking messages, directing visitors to appropriate staff.
• Use a personal computer to perform word processing functions as required.
• Handle correspondence, faxes and distribution of all incoming outgoing mail to section directors.
• Keep records of all private calls, fax usage, photocopying etc.
• Maintain the visitors register for control and security purposes.

Essential Requirements    

• Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) or equivalent.
• 3 Months relevant experience.

Preferred Requirements    

• 6 Months relevant experience.
