Job Description

• We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Project Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of cold storage facility projects across the country. This hands-on role requires managing multiple projects, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and leading teams to deliver successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end project management for construction, refurbishment, and upgrade of cold storage facilities.
• Plan, budget, allocate resources, and schedule project activities effectively.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and legal requirements, particularly ammonia refrigeration systems.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
• Monitor project progress and produce regular status reports.
• Supervise installation, commissioning, and handover of refrigeration systems.
• Travel nationally to manage multiple project sites.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Trade Test Qualification (e.g., Millwright, Refrigeration Mechanic, Fitter & Turner).
• Minimum 5 years’ project management experience in cold storage, food processing, or industrial refrigeration.
• Proven experience with ammonia refrigeration systems.
• Project Management qualification is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of building services, mechanical installations, and cold chain management.
• Sound understanding of health and safety legislation.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel nationally.
