Reporting to the Chief Business Development Officer (CBDO), the successful candidate will be responsible for inter-alia providing direction and co-ordination for the branch to support the strategic objectives of FEM and ensure robust and effective relations with internal and external stakeholders.
The successful candidate will be responsible for a team of approximately 6 direct employees.
The position will also include developing strategies and operational plans to ensure growth and sustainability of the branch/region.
Knowledge of the Insurance Act and COIDA (Compensation for Injuries and Diseases Act) will be a distinct advantage.
The successful candidate will also be required to develop and maintain relationships with FEM’s grant recipients, and industry specific stakeholders.
Qualification
The minimum requirement for the position is a related Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years related experience in a senior management environment, with at least 5 years in a financial services environment and 5 years in a marketing and sales environment.
