    Regional Parts Manager C&F

    REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/TRAINING    

    • Grade 12
    • A relevant tertiary qualification will be an advantage

    REQUIRED MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE            

    • 5 years’ relevant construction parts experience of which 2 years as a supervisor or manager.

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS         

    • Develop and implement strategies to increase parts sales and market share, including identifying new sales opportunities and expanding customer base.
    • Monitor and analyze sales and inventory data to optimize stock levels and minimize overstock and obsolescence.
    • Oversee the procurement and distribution of parts to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction
    • Manage and mentor a team of parts sales and inventory management staff, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental goals.
    • Collaborate with other departments, such as sales, marketing, and finance, to align strategies and ensure seamless operations.
    • Develop and manage departmental budgets, tracking expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
    • Implement and maintain effective processes and systems for parts sales and inventory management, utilizing technology and automation where possible.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, addressing their needs and concerns to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.

    TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE/ COMPETENCIES      

    • Proven experience in parts sales and inventory management, preferably in the construction or mining industry
    • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and influence others
    • Analytical and strategic thinking, with a focus on data-driven decision-making
    • Customer-centric mindset, with a commitment to delivering exceptional service
    • Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office
    • Familiar with John Deere and competitive products
