    Registered Psychometrist - Kuilsriver

    Job Advert    

    • We are looking for a competent, ethical and professional practitioner to provide Psychometric Assessment services that support decision making during the recruitment, selection and development processes across all departments and job grades.
    • This Psychometrist position is based at our Support Centre in Kuils River, Cape Town and reports directly to the HR Manager. It is an exciting and challenging opportunity that will require the successful candidate to assist with administering, scoring and interpreting psychometric assessments, for selection purposes, in accordance with ethical specifications of the HPCSA as well as assisting with verbal and written feedback on assessment results to management and candidates.

    Qualifications    

    • Honours Degree in Psychology / Industrial Psychology
    • Registered with the HPCSA as a Psychometrist (Independent Practice)

    Knowledge, Skills and Experience    
    Knowledge required: 

    • Thorough knowledge of the code of professional ethics of the HPCSA (including the ethical use of psychometric tests including test security, confidentiality and informed consent)
    • Knowledge of best practice in the field of psychometrics
    • Knowledge of relevant legislative frameworks which impact on psychological practice 
    • Sound understanding of psychometric properties
    • Clear knowledge and understanding of scope of practice
    • Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)

    Advantageous:

    • Accredited on CPP and EQ-i2.0
    • Familiar with Psytech assessments (15FQ+ and ability assessments)

    Experience required:

    • Must have at least a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience as a registered Psychometrist / Industrial Psychologist

    Key Responsibilities    

    • Prepare for administration of assessments (set up assessment links; set up assessment room)
    • Provide support to candidates where needed (e.g. assisting candidates with unsupervised online assessments)
    • Administer a wide range of psychometric assessments
    • Manage online portals (e.g. downloading of assessment results)
    • General office administration (e.g. filing of assessment data, managing records and psychometric databases, ordering of credits for online assessments)
    • Coordinate and arrange assessment activities in all provinces (scheduling candidates)
    • Assist with verbal feedback to line management 
    • Assist with verbal feedback to Phadimas for development purposes 
    • Report writing
    • Support Career Progression platform (for Support Centre)
    • Monthly invoicing
