Appropriate qualification that allows registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Medical Practitioner.
Duties
Provision of safe imaging services. Learn the art and science of diagnostic radiology and imaging. Earn clinical skills required by diagnostic imaging. Participate in academic activities and teaching responsibilities of the division. Assist with training of interns, medical students and nursing staff. Undertake a suitable research project for completion of an MMed degree. Supervision in diagnostic imaging. Performance appraisals/assessments. Safety of personnel and patients. Input at meetings. Involvement in research/ audits relating to diagnostic radiology and imaging.
