    Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance Assistant

    Overview

    • The Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance Assistant position is responsible for the administrative support functions for the IPRA and QA team.

    Responsibilities

    • Provides administrative support, including IPRA documentation (blue sheets, labels, customer questionnaires, agreements, etc.).
    • Must be able to draft certain elements of a product or dossier registration under direct supervision.
    • Responsible for entries on the ERP system that are related regulatory and quality assurance.
    • Management of product labelling programs.
    • Publishing and management of product documentation on Kemin database(s).
    • Responsible for filing and record management.
    • Support the Raw Material Risk Assessment (RMRA) process.
    • Management of supplier approval documents.
    • Assist in audits.
    • Support the quality assurance change management process.
    • Keep abreast with food and feed safety rules and regulations.
    • Other duties as assigned, including assistance with primary IPRA Specialist functions.

    Qualifications

    Education level.

    • Bachelor’s degree in a scientific background, e.g. BSc Animal Science, Veterinary, Para-Veterinary or Pharmacy.

    Essential skills and experience.

    • 2+ years of relevant experience.
    • Good knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
    • Must be fluent in English.
    • Excellent computer skills required.
    • Strong written and oral communication skills.
    • Good prioritization skills and time management skills.
    • Ability to learn and apply food and feed regulatory law and regulations.

    Personal characteristics:

    • Ability to develop strong networks and influence internal and external stakeholders.
