Regulatory Officer at Mayfly Agri (Pty) Ltd

• An established agrochemical manufacturer is seeking a Regulatory Officer to compile and maintain product registrations according to relevant legislations within South Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa.

Minimum requirements for the role:

• Must have a tertiary technical qualification in Agriculture
• Minimum 1 - 3 years’ experience within a regulatory environment
• Strong administrative and organizational skills are essential
• Good verbal and written communication skills are important
• Must be computer literate

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Compiling product registrations in accordance with Act 36 of 1947 and other applicable legislation in South Africa and Sub-Saharan African countries.
• Managing and maintaining currently registered product registrations.
• Performing product stewardship and proofreading of all product labels, trial protocols, trial reports, as well as other relevant documentation.
• Liaising with personnel from the Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries with regards to product registrations.
• Attending CropLife meetings as well as liaising with relevant industry stakeholders.
