Gather relevant information in order to fulfill regulatory requirements
Evaluate opportunities to improve business processes and systems by identifying and recommending effective approaches to operate and adding value
Identify and resolve business problems timeously by analyzing data and reports from various sources
Provide meaningful recommendations, explanations and highlight anomalies by analyzing and interrogating information
Ensure that financial business analysis is conducted in line with set standards.
Enhance processes, policies and procedures
Ensure understanding and compliance
Manage defined risks and risk categories at targeted levels by adhering to guidelines, policies, procedures, business rules, compliance and governance requirements.
Qualifications
Must have BCom Financial Management
Ideally a Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) is advantageous
3+ years’ experience in Consulting and/or Financial services environment
Markit risk exposure and BA returns experience
Financial risk management advantageous
Developing methods to minimize process and reporting risks
Data Analysis, Governance, Risk and Controls experience
