    Strategic Senior Programme Manager

    About you and the key skills, we’re looking for.

    • You are a seasoned professional with a proven track record in leading and managing complex and strategic programs. With a minimum of a 3-year tertiary qualification and 8-15 years of relevant experience, you possess a strong foundation in program management, complemented by a recognized program management accreditation/qualification and Agile certifications. Your expertise extends to project/software delivery, and you are well-versed in Agile/Scrum/Scaled Agile Framework, with knowledge of Kanban/Lean being desirable. Familiarity with tracking and collaboration tools such as Jira and Miro underscore your technical proficiency.

    • The Strategic Programme Manager role is a dynamic position where you will lead the coordinated management of complex and strategic programs, playing a key role in conceptualizing business cases and ensuring effective execution. As a seasoned professional, you will engage with senior stakeholders, employing strategic stakeholder management approaches to ensure program success. Your expertise in project management methodologies, financial management, and risk analysis will be vital. Leading a team, you will chair meetings, drive innovation, and contribute to enterprise governance. The role encompasses resource and vendor management, procurement governance, and change management.     Accounting Professional - (Contracting)

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • Minimum - Honours Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
    • Advantageous - qualifying CA(SA), CIMA, etc
    • 6 + years relevant work experience in finance or accounting environments/projects
    • Strong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
    • Industry experience in Consulting, Financial Services, FMCG and Manufacturing will be advantageous.
    • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data accurately.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with teams and stakeholders.
    • Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of handling multiple tasks and deadlines.
    • Must be able and willing to travel to clients

    Responsibilities:

    • Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and comprehensive financial statements, adhering to relevant accounting standards.
    • Compliance: Assist with internal compliance reviews and ensure adherence to accounting principles, industry regulations, and company policies.
    • Financial Analysis: Conduct detailed financial analysis, identifying key trends and variances, and providing valuable insights to support decision-making.
    • Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with the finance team in developing budgets, forecasts, and financial models to facilitate strategic planning and resource allocation.
    • Taxation: Support tax planning and ensure timely preparation and submission of tax returns, adhering to applicable tax laws and regulations.
    • Cash Management: Monitor cash flows, optimize working capital, and manage treasury functions to ensure adequate liquidity.
    • Financial Systems: Utilize accounting software and financial tools effectively to streamline processes and enhance reporting capabilities.

    Regulatory Reporting Analyst (Contract)

    Job Responsibilities

    • Ability to perform BA returns 
    • Gather relevant information in order to fulfill regulatory requirements
    • Evaluate opportunities to improve business processes and systems by identifying and recommending effective approaches to operate and adding value
    • Identify and resolve business problems timeously by analyzing data and reports from various sources
    • Provide meaningful recommendations, explanations and highlight anomalies by analyzing and interrogating information
    • Ensure that financial business analysis is conducted in line with set standards.
    • Enhance processes, policies and procedures 
    • Ensure understanding and compliance
    • Manage defined risks and risk categories at targeted levels by adhering to guidelines, policies, procedures, business rules, compliance and governance requirements. 

    Qualifications

    • Must have BCom Financial Management
    • Ideally a Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) is advantageous
    • 3+ years’ experience in Consulting and/or Financial services environment
    • Markit risk exposure and BA returns experience
    • Financial risk management advantageous
    • Developing methods to minimize process and reporting risks
    • Data Analysis, Governance, Risk and Controls experience
    • Financial services regulatory knowledge
