Lead, manage and grow the national Energy & Transportation (E&T) rental sales function in line with annual revenue and profitability targets.
Manage and report on all key sales deliverables, ensuring performance metrics are met and exceeded.
Ownership of the national rental sales pipeline, including opportunity identification, qualification, forecasting and conversion.
Conduct in-depth market research to identify opportunities for growth and implement effective sales strategies.
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
Drive structured key-account management and customer engagement plans to protect and grow existing rental accounts.
Monitor market trends, customer requirements and competitor activity to inform sales strategy and fleet planning.
Lead and manage the rental sales and administration teams, ensuring effective performance management, coaching, capability development and discipline in sales processes.
Develop and execute a structured customer and sector growth strategy for key segments including mining, manufacturing, construction, agriculture and infrastructure.
Support tender submissions for rental opportunities.
Analyse and understand income statements and the key drivers impacting business performance.
Ensure compliance with internal governance, approval frameworks and commercial policies.
Demonstrate effective self-management, taking ownership of personal performance and driving results.
Qualification, Experience and Competencies
Relevant commercial or technical qualification (Business Management; Electrical, Mechanical or Engineering related preferred).
Proven experience in rental sales and admin management within power rental, temporary power, and energy solutions sector.
Proven experience leading and managing rental sales and rental admin teams.
Strong understanding of rental business models, including utilisation, cost recoveries, pricing structures, contract terms, and risk management.
