Contributes to the development of the strategic vision of packages and the roadmaps for SSA CBU in collaboration with EDP AMEA Zone team.
Guarantor of the development of packaging focused on value for the consumer, mastering eco-design and cost control.
Coordinate and train West And South Africa Packaging team of SSA CBU with the objective : to re-enforce the R&I Packaging contribution in all CBU projects ; to inform in cascade all the Danone news in term of packaging innovation, renovation , sustainability , circularity , food safety ; provide and organize all relevant trainings at CBU level ; to inform of the packaging trends WW ; to transfer all information coming from AMEA EDP central team ; to share the interesting projects in the others Zones ; to leverage synergies between countries…
About you
Required Skills
Experience:
Minimum 10 years of experience in the consumer goods industry, in the field of packaging
Experience at EDP CBU level and experience working in a matrix organization.
Skills:
Technical knowledge in packaging design (knowledge of different plastic materials: PS, PET, PP, PLA... and paper/cardboard, knowledge of the different technologies for manufacturing packaging (ISBM, EBM, FFS machine , Thermoforming, Injection, labelers systems , end of line, cardboard trays , plastic crates , pouches , flexibles laminations , carton packages , palletization systems…. ) And the barrier characteristics of different materials.
Also, the adaptation package of different process and shelf life:
Aseptic, hot filling, ultraclean, retort , Cool and ambient LSL distribution etc.
Knowledge of packaging regulations in the food industry.
Knowledge of Danone packaging policy.
