Research Operations Manager: DIMAMO at University of Limpopo

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences, Environmental Sciences or related field or an equivalent qualification;
• Postgraduate degree in Health Sciences or Environmental Sciences will be an added advantage
• Minimum 5 years working experience in monitoring and data collection in HDSS or related field site.
• Ability to work under pressure and independently
• Computer Literacy and knowledge of the data management and GIS

Duties:

• To perform overall day-to-day management and administration of data collection and data processing of the highest quality standards using innovative, efficient and costeffective systems that are anchored on robust quality assurance and quality control practices.
• Manage field data collection including telephonic data collection
• Develop and maintain project concepts to inform data collection including fieldwork logistical support
• Develop and maintain a quality assurance programme and quality control activities for data collection and processing
• Develop and implement feedback mechanism on quality to constantly drive improvement
• Overseeing the integration of new technologies and initiatives into data standards and structures
• Assessing system performance and making recommendations for hardware, software, and data storage improvements
• Provides support, reports and resolves problems, complaints and monitor field and call centre performance, prepare and analyses reports
• Mentor, train and manage the performance of data collection and data processingstaff
