    Residence Coordinator

    About the job

    • My client is looking for a Residence Coordinator to join their team and be responsible for the buildings that they let out to tenants.
    • The suitable incumbent must be flexi with their time and be able to work in either town or Parow.
    • Own car and a valid driver's license is essential
    • The suitable incumbent should also be available to work on Saturdays and Sundays.
    • Sound building and facilities knowledge is a requirement for this role

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Check in every morning with Management via email.

    Daily Meetings:

    • Maintenance assistant
    • Security
    • Cleaners
    • Forward all claim reportsto Management.
    • Daily to do lists
    • Reconcile Petty Cash daily.
    • Send all job cards to the Management.
    • Keep Staff Time Registers
    • Respond to all emails& phone calls within 12 hours.
    • Refer all necessary correspondence to Management.
    • Ensure correct signage in all common areas.
    • Refer all NSFAS bursary matters to Management.
    • Keep Notice Boards updated.
    • Arrange Monthly Student (RSA/House Committee) meetings.
    • cc Management in on all correspondence with universities.

    End of Month Functions

    Send all paperwork to Management:

    • Petty Cash
    • Pest Control
    • Laundry Recon
    • Updated Furniture List
    • Lift Service
    • Maintenance 
    • Prepare Checklists: Reports with photos attached.
    • Send the Weekly Maintenance list to Managementby 14:00pm Thursdays.
    • Report urgent maintenance issues to Le-Anne
    • Control and manage Head of Maintenance
    • Marketing and Holiday Accommodation
    • Refer all queries on Holiday.
    • Accommodation to Management
    • Ensure all Holiday Accommodation documentation is in order.
    • Assist with yearly Student Development Program
