Description

• You’ll be responsible for analyzing business data to support decision-making within the Showroom Channel. The key focus areas include accurate reporting, trend monitoring, risk identification and performance tracking. The role also involves researching industry trends, delivering regular reports, and ensuring alignment with company values and objectives.

What you will love doing in this role

Data analysis

• Design and implement business analysis tools and data solutions for use across the Showroom Channel.
• Maintain and update reports regularly to ensure data accuracy.
• Ensure data is consistently maintained to identify and correct errors promptly.
• Accurately collect and analyze data for various business reports. Monitor data to identify shifts in retail business trends.
• Communicate analytical findings clearly in both written and verbal formats to relevant stakeholders.

Risk management

• Identify potential business risks, with a specific focus on cash handling and stock control, and report these to line management.
• Recommend practical, actionable solutions to mitigate risks within the Showroom Channel.

Monitoring of data

• Continuously monitor company data and reporting outputs to ensure the Channel aligns with company objectives and performance targets.

• Demonstrate alignment between personal values and company values through consistent behavior and interactions with all stakeholders.

Research and analysis

• Research industry trends and innovations that may positively impact the organisation, and present insights to relevant stakeholders in the appropriate forums.

Administration

• Provide accurate and timely reports upon request, including daily, weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reports.
• Share hourly statistics via the Channel’s preferred communication platform.

Requirements
What you’ll need to do this role

• B Degree (computer science, statistics/information systems)
• Knowledge and proven implementation of change management principles.
• Participation in developing a departmental budget and monitoring expenditures for multiple projects & funding.
• The ideal candidate should have an analytical mindset
