Thorough knowledge of and compliance with all Studio standards, as well as general interior design conventions and drawing methodologies.
Custom modelling of furniture, joinery, lighting etc.
Furniture Layouts / Spatial planning of spaces.
Numbered Furniture Layouts that relate to the project details.
Ability to be flexible and forthcoming with supporting and assisting Lead/ Senior Interior Designers with achieving deadlines.
Ability to produce and navigate within complex models in Revit.
Good eye for producing architectural 3D views for client presentations and internal meeting purposes, including appropriate angles, view ratios, textures, and furniture model visuals.
Produce plans, sections, elevations, and details to convey interior design information such as joinery, wall finishes, etc.
Work under the direction of the Lead/Senior Interior Designers.
Import and convert CAD drawings into Revit.
Perform other Revit-related duties as assigned by the Lead Designer.
To be able to interpret as well as provide insight into high-level technical drawings. Troubleshoot and resolve any potential problems and propose solutions accordingly.
Technical Skills:
A minimum of 4 years working experience as a Revit Technician or similar role
National Diploma in Interior Design/Draughting
Proficient in Revit
Technical knowledge of design software such as AutoCAD would be advantageous
Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
Ability to understand and formulate a technical drawing pack.
Ability to accurately understand and interpret instructions
The ability to learn and demonstrate creative problem-solving skills
Methodical, accurate, and consistent attention to detail.
Excellent time management and communication skills to ensure all deadlines are continuously met.
Able to manage sensitive and sometimes confidential information.
Able to remain calm and work in pressurized environments.
