SACPCMP Registered Construction Manager – Construction Industry
We are seeking an experienced and SACPCMP Registered Construction Manager to oversee complex construction projects from an operational perspective. This is a senior leadership opportunity for a results-driven professional with strong technical knowledge, people management skills, and a proven ability to deliver projects successfully.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage all aspects of assigned construction projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, supervisors, and other stakeholders.
Oversee health, safety, and environmental compliance across projects.
Manage budgets, cost controls, risk management, and reporting requirements.
Ensure compliance with tender, procurement, and financial processes.
Foster strong collaboration with project teams, particularly Quantity Surveyors, to ensure operational and financial success.
Provide effective leadership, guidance, and mentorship to site staff.
Requirements:
Matric/Grade 12 (essential).
National Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction, or equivalent.
Formal qualification in Health, Safety & Environment Management.
SACPCMP Professional Registration as a PrCM Construction Manager (essential).
10–15 years’ experience in the built environment, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role.
Demonstrated success in delivering large-scale construction projects.
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
In-depth knowledge of construction site operations, HSE requirements, and project controls.
Ability to read and interpret engineering/architectural drawings.
Advanced problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
