    Fleet Management Officer - Task Grade 11

    Essential Requirements of the post:

    • Matric/Grade 12
    • Relevant Tertiary qualification
    • Valid Driver's License
    • 3 years relevant experience

    Key Performance Areas:

    • Developing policies and standard operating procedures that are inline with the relevant legislation
    • Monitoring the implementation and compliance with the fleet management policies and standard operating procedures
    • Implementing and controlling systems to optimize the usage and utilization of vehicles and drivers in consultation with the immediate supervisor.
    • Implementing controls to deter fraud, abuse and misuse and following disciplinary procedures if necessary
    • Ensure the development and implementation of the risk register.
    • Analyse and evaluate the internal controls to determine their effectiveness in mitigating risks.
    • Assist in the development of the risk register.
    • Analyzing the Municipality's need for vehicles and liaising with fleet providers for the availability of vehicles.
    • Monitoring and reporting misuse and abuse of the fleet vehicles.

    Accountant: Budget and Financial Reporting - Task Grade 11

    Essential Requirements of the post:

    • Appropriate Bachelors' Degree/Diploma in Accounting or equivalent (NQF 6) Qualification
    • 3 years' experience in Local Government particularly Budget and Treasury Office
    • Must have a Certificate in Municipal Finance Management
    • Computer Literacy

    Key Performance Areas:

    • Coordinate the preparation of the annual budget, adjustments budget and
    • MTREF in line with IDP, SDBIP and MFMA requirements.
    • Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports and reconciliations in compliance with MFMA, GRAP and National Treasury regulations.
    • Monitor expenditure and revenue against approved budgets, perform variance analysis and support in-year monitoring and Section 71/72 reporting.
    • Assist with the compilation of Annual Financial Statements, maintenance of an accounting file and provide support during internal and external audits.
    • Implement and maintain effective financial controls, policies and procedures relating to budget and reporting processes.

    Landfill Site Supervisor - Task Grade 08

    Requirements of the Position:

    • Appropriate National Diploma/ Degree in Environmental Management/Science/ Studies or equivalent (NQF6) qualification.
    • Valid Driver's License
    • Computer literacy - Office Application
    • Knowledge of Applicable legislation: NEMA, NAMWA, EIA Regulation.

    Key Performance Areas:

    • Supervising and monitoring daily activities on the landfill site.

    Grader Operator - Task Grade 08

    Requirements of the Position:

    • STD 8/ Grade 10
    • Certification of Competency in Operating a Grader/Heavy Duty Plant.
    • Code C1 driving license + PrDP.
    • Clear understanding of slope, elevation, fine and rough grading, and roadbuilding techniques.

    Key Performance Areas:
