Water Cart Operator - Task Grade 7 at Nyandeni Municipality

Requirements of the Position:

• Grade 10
• Competency Certificate
• 2-3 years relevant experience
• Code C1 Driving License
• Professional Driver's Permit (PrDP)

Key Performance Areas:

• Establishing details of tasks (vehicle, materials and personnel)
• Inspecting safety devices, controls, lubricant levels etc. on water truck and reports defects identified to the supervisor.
• Operating water trucks to transport and distribute water various municipal activities as may be assigned from time to time
• Delivering water to remote work sites while adhering to schedule and safety protocols.
• Assisting with dust control, road maintenance and equipment cleaning at oilfield sites.
• Conducting pre trip and post - trip inspections to ensure the truck is safe and operational
