This position requires a Grade 12, Job Specific Qualification, or equivalent qualification at NQF 4 with 4 years of work experience in the relevant field,
OR a National Diploma in Security Management or Advanced Certificate, or equivalent qualification at NQF 6 with 3 years of work experience in the relevant field.
Higher Education Qualification/Advanced Diploma at NQF 7 will be an added advantage.
The following competencies are required for the candidate to be successful in this position: must have a valid Grade PSIRA grade B certificate, ability to work under pressure; extensive experience in the implementation of relevant legislation, policies, procedures, processes, and regulatory framework relevant to Safety & Security Management;
Safety & Service focus are essential; advance knowledge for planning and organising, and statistical reports writing skills; in-depth organisational, analytical, and problem solving skills; excellent communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills; excellent computer literacy and experience in the application of software tools including (Ms Word, MS Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Internet and Outlook).
The possession of a valid driver’s licence with at least one-year practical driving experience and a willingness to travel is essential.
