Sales Agent in Benoni CBD at Global Direct

About the role

• Represent Global Direct to sell short-term insurance products provided by The Unlimited.
• Fully commission-based — no basic salary. Average monthly earnings typically R6,000–R12,000 (dependent on individual effort and results).
• Free training provided: product knowledge (The Unlimited’s products), sales approach, lead generation, and objection handling.

Key responsibilities

• Actively generate and follow up on leads and prospects.
• Present The Unlimited’s short-term insurance products professionally on behalf of Global Direct.
• Close sales and complete accurate application paperwork.
• Build and maintain client relationships and provide excellent customer service.
• Meet individual sales targets and report activity as required.

Requirements

• At least 50% average for matric (NQF 4), or any higher qualification (NQF 5+).
• Proven sales ability or strong motivation to sell (experience in insurance or related sales is an advantage).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.
• Reliable transport and ability to travel locally for client visits.
• Basic smartphone and ability to use simple sales/admin apps.
• South African work authorization.
