    Sales Executive

    About

    The Joinery, a luxury product design company, fast paced, diverse and with a list of top notch clients, operates out of Cape Town and is looking for an exceptional sales representative. This position requires a suitable applicant to have incredibly strong sales and customer relations experience, paired with the gift for building professional relationships. You will be liaising with elite clientele, promoting and selling luxury products within the luxe travel and tourism industry on one end and blue chip companies on another end,  hence a corporate demeanour and business like take on selling is key.

    Our customers and clients are at the centre of everything we do - this role is for a lead sales representative which makes it a pretty important position, one requiring tenacity, on the ball thinking, experience in successfully closing deals and with an excitable and enthusiastic personality, and that's why we're looking for someone extraordinary. This position is a newly created role responsible for driving forward new customer acquisition and ensuring the continuous improvement and delivery of a top quality customer service experience.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Setting sales targets to achieve business growth 
    • Ensuring long-lasting customer relationships are maintained 
    • Successfully managing their Sales to ensure targets
    • Getting clients over the line 
    • Oversee orders from pitching, loading, through production to delivery
    • Supply all invoicing information to customers and ensure payment has been received.
    • Pro-active customer communication and departmental liaison
    • Liaise with various departments regarding design, artwork, production and couriers and all requested items from clients
    • Coordinating samples and full sales information for clients.
    • Managing day to day queries.
    • Consolidating sales & market data. Managing the client database
    • Increasing sales effectiveness through analysis of conversion and drop-off rates 
    • Developing sales strategies to expand our company's customer base ensuring the customer experience is world-class 
    • Providing detailed and accurate sales forecasts and reports to Management.

    • Enthusiastic and energetic with a self-driven work ethic
    • Ability to work under pressure and adhere to deadlines
    • Strong problem-solving capabilities

    Requirements

    • 2-5 Years sales experience on the ground
    • Senior Certificate, Diploma, Degree in Sales & Marketing/Business Management
    • Drivers licence and own vehicle a plus
    • Must be able to work between Monday to Friday, full day
    • Must have sales experience in either corporate gifting, travel and tourism, safari industry, or blue chip and financial institution and corporates.
    • Must go the extra mile and be communicative after working hours with the team
    • Own Laptop
