    Sales Manager Video Systems Southern Africa and Country Business Director

    An opportunity exists in Bosch Building Technology (BT) division. The purpose of this job is to develop and manage the ever growing Business Unit Video Systems turnover and margin of Southern Africa Region. 

    Duties would include but are not limited to; 

    Sales Manager Video Systems

    • Responsible for Business Unit Video Systems turnover and margin of Southern Africa Region
    • Knowledge in the field of technical product management - Video Systems and Management Software Deep technical understanding as well as experience with CCTV camera technology and AI driven solutions (Machine Learning, Deep Learning, IoT)
    • Extensive knowledge and experience with TCP/IP networks and information technology related systems
    • Dimensions combine strategic vision and technical background to understand market and customer needs including competition and ecosystem analysis
    • Develop and implement the country (cluster) market strategy for a defined product group
    • Analyse business unit market situation and take actions (marketing mix) to gain market share and improve market positioning
    • Develop, implement and follow-up on business development approach for key verticals
    • Generate, follow-up and win project leads in country (cluster) and focus vertical
    • Actively get involved in tender specification of large projects, drive specification of BT and convert these tenders into leads by having a close relationship with industry consultants
    • Inform, support and challenge sales organization of the country (cluster) for the specific product group
    • Manage product launch in the country (cluster) (create launch plan, run launch and evaluate)
    • Support knowledge transfer to all relevant internal and external parties. This includes e.g. roadmap information, explanation of product technologies, USPs vs. competition and commercial product training
    • Build-up knowledge and good contacts with local IPP partners (low integration knowledge necessary)
    • Plan promotion basket for the country (cluster) and initiate sales campaigns
    • Support sales and business development team in customer/influencer/end-user management & visits
    • Manage price positioning/maintenance and repositioning needs; ensure up to date price lists
    • Contribute to product/service development by anticipating market trends end-user- and customer needs
    • Provide input for business planning and sales action planning

    Country Business Director

    Cross-Business unit (BU) responsibilities:

    • Alignment between BU’s in country, incl. organization and orchestration of Country Round Tables Disciplinary & Functional manager for multi-BU functions in the country
    • Support multi-BU solution strategy relationship management with top executives of large local (multi-BU) customers
    • Administrative tasks:
    • Manage local Tax & Legal requirements
    • Responsible for compliance
    • Credit Management
    • Organization & coordination of (internal) audits
    • Manage local succession planning
    • Head of legal entity and representative in local management board where applicable


    Experience Required;

    • A minimum 10 years’ working experience in a similar role as Sales & Marketing manager in Video Systems
    • Experience in selling complex, integrated security systems & business development
    • Experience working with Security Consultants

    Qualifications
    Completed Matric Certificate (Grade 12) and a National Diploma in Marketing / Business Administration or related field mandatory
    Marketing Degree or equivalent will be advantageous
