    Sales Marketing Administrator

    About

    As a SolarAfrica Sales & Marketing Administrator, your job role will be diverse and require an organised, confident person with strong people skills and a proven history working within a professional sales environment. The successful candidate will demonstrate great attention to detail and always focus on customer satisfaction as well as the ability to coordinate the sales teams activities. Your communication, both written and verbal must be excellent.

    Your goal is to ensure the sales team is highly efficient, productive and supported through your organisational skills and communication abilities.

    Principal responsibilities:

    • Assist in day to day basic administration for the sales team from answering calls, replying to emails and co-ordinating multiple diaries.
    • Assist in create PPA proposals in a timely manner
    • Liaise with our certified partners to ensure they have all the information they require
    • Chase inbound sales opportunities to get project information and electricity bills
    • Create user profiles and upload logos for our certified partners on our bespoke software platform
    • Answer incoming phone-calls professionally at all times and field calls accordingly
    • Email communication between the sales team and certified partners as well as external sales enquiries.
    • Schedule training sessions for certified partners
    • Maintain contact database accuracy on Pipedrive CRM with up to date details
    • Liaise between the technical and sales department to ensure communication on projects is on schedule
    • Organising, arranging and scheduling of sales meetings
    • Handling external or internal communication or management systems.
    • Distribution of leads to partners & following up on CRM
    • Partner communications by email & telephone
    • Communication to clients of kick-off credit review emails and following up on outstanding documentation.
    • Day to day communication and assistance to partners on progress on transactions as well as managing portal issues with partners and overflow from Partner manager.
    • Informing the partner manager of credit and technical approval in order for the partner manager to assist sales partner in getting agreements out and signed by the end-user/client
    • Credit checks & bill co-ordination training scheduling & co-ordination
    • Responsible for sales reporting on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis
    • Adhoc administration support to the Marketing & Communications Manager with adhoc administration functions when required
    • Attend to any other general office administration that may be required from time to time

    Experience:

    • Previous administration experience is essential, running multiple diaries, as well as sales experience, would be a bonus. Experience in technical industry or renewables will advantageous but not a prerequisite.
    • Experience with multiple software/computer literacy is required.

    Salary: Market and experience related.
