The position requires a person with experience in Sales to join the Martec condition monitoring division. The individual needs to be a motivated and self driven character who likes the challenge of developing new business and engaging with clients to sustain and develop new business opportunities. The individual needs to be willing to travel locally and spend some time away from home if and when required.
Minimum Requirements
Minimum Engineering Qualification
Solid Sales track record and references
Condition Monitoring experience will be advantageous
Electrical Engineering working experience or apprenticeship
Willing to travel
No criminal record
Minimum of 5 years working sales experience in a technical field
Sales qualification will be advantageous
Preferably stay in the Richards Bay area
Duties & Responsibilities
New Business Development and Sales for Products / services consulting and training and to expand Martec Sales within al market sectors
Sales Strategy for specific market sectors where applicable
Identification and contacting new and existing clients
Scheduling meetings and cold calling related to Sales functions
Submission of Quotes, tenders or RFQ's
Customer relationship management including sales, debtors and client relationship management
Sales administration and opportunity tracking
Networking at Industry related events
Scope Identification and design were applicable
The ability to achieve sales target
The ability to network and build a personal profile in the industry
