About the Role

We are currently growing our Global Salesforce Teams in South Africa and looking to hire a skilled Salesforce CPQ Engineer that will have the opportunity to work on greenfield migration and implementation projects with the latest technologies.

As a Salesforce CPQ Engineer, you will be a key player in our team, responsible for implementing and customizing CPQ solutions within the Salesforce platform. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, turning client requirements into robust, scalable solutions.

This position performs complex research, design, and software development assignments and provides direct input to project plans, schedules, and methodology in the development of cross-functional software products. This position performs software design, typically across multiple systems and may collaborate with users/customers and translates their requests into solutions

Responsibilities

• Interfacing with other personnel or team members to finalize requirements
• Develop and maintain CPQ solutions within Salesforce platform.
• Customize CPQ to meet client needs, ensuring functionality and efficiency.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and implement solutions.
• Integrate CPQ with other Salesforce modules for a seamless user experience.
• Troubleshoot and resolve CPQ-related issues to ensure system reliability.
• Stay updated on CPQ technology advancements and suggest improvements

Requirements

• Proven experience working with Salesforce CPQ.
• Proficiency in Salesforce Sales, Marketing, and Service Clouds.
• Strong understanding of CPQ configuration, pricing, and quoting processes.
• Hands-on experience in CPQ customization and development.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail.
• Participation in and proven leadership in refactoring existing development to improve underlying foundation
• Ability to map business and functional requirements to Salesforce out of box features and functionality.
• Knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
• Proficiency with data manipulation language including optimization techniques.
• Understanding of normalized/dimensional data modeling principles.
• Knowledge of multiple data storage subsystems
