Role Summary:

Compiling and implementing application development plans for new or existing applications. Leading the application development team and supervising the design, testing, and modification stages. Demonstrating application prototypes and integrating user feedback.

Qualifications / Certifications required:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent discipline required, Master's Degree preferred.

Experience required:

• Should have experience on at least 3 projects as SAP Technical Architect, with at least one experience with a big four consulting major.

• 6+ years of experience in SAP implementations across various SAP ERP, R/3, S/4HANA and other SAP cloud applications.

• Good understanding of business processes is required.

• Experience across multiple end-to-end (E2E) SAP implementation, cross application business process modeling, integration between SAP and non-SAP solutions.

• Proficiency in technical design and build in SAP ERP, S/4HANA, SAP Cloud Platform (SCP), SAP Cloud Integration (SCI)

• Proficient in application development on HANA using ABAP, UI5 is needed. Knowledge of JAVA and other languages is preferred.

• Knowledge of majority of new features related to HANA is needed – embedded analytics using CDS views, user experience using Fiori, S/4HANA conversion and prerequisites, S/4HANA simplification and technical impact, SAP cloud platform, usage of BRF+ in SAP S/4HANA.

• Understanding of project activities based on SAP ACTIVATE and/ or AGILE methodology is a must.

• Ability to communicate business stories with effective communication and strong presentation skills, contextualize changes in HANA and analyze impact on business processes and IT landscape.

• Should be proficient in conversation on various aspects of technology and architecture with business leads, IT leads and CxOs.

• Ability to manage and deliver multiple priorities in a constrained timeline.

• Should have working experience in project planning, project estimation, staffing.

• Capable of functioning with a proactive approach towards work with a CAN DO attitude and solution oriented approach.

• Leadership skills with ability to influence and negotiate internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities of role:

• Lead application development and integration track in SAP projects and ensure timely completion of projects with key focus on quality.

• Provide advisory and assessment services to customers for their S/4HANA journey during RFP/ RFI or during pro-active engagements.

• Lead technical requirement workshop with customer during design and roll-out of SAP S/4HANA and SAP cloud solutions

• Design and execute required proof of concepts on SAP cloud platform (SCP) to showcase the benefit of SAP S/4HANA and SAP cloud apps.

• Responsible for design, build and deployment of custom objects and developments in SAP S/4HANA, SAP Cloud Platform - UI5, Fiori, CDS views, reports, enhancements, forms, BRF+, interfaces using SAP cloud integration.

• Work with global teams during build of custom objects and application developments related to SAP.

• Provide impact analysis and estimation during fit-gap analysis.

• Support and provide inputs for cutover, migration, testing, training related strategies.

• Maintain and track inventory of development objects required during build of the solution – reports, interfaces, enhancements, conversions, forms, workflow, core data services (CDS), Fiori apps, HANA apps.

• Review functional specification and validate the design logic.

• Maintain detailed knowledge of SAP's product portfolio, emerging trends, roadmap of SAP solutions and advice on adoption of SAP Cloud Platform (SCP), SAP Cloud Integration (SCI)

• Resolve issues identified in custom objects and extensions developed and provide alternative solutions.
