Security Manager: D1 at Ithala Development Finance Corporation Limited

Reporting to the Divisional Manager: Security and Logistics, the Security Manager will assist in ensuring that security and logistic functions are managed.

The Security Manager will:

• Implement and monitor security operations and logistics control systems.
• Ensure that all security related incidents are reported to security management.
• Manage, monitor and evaluate performance of security service providers in line with SLA.
• Manage human capital through effective performance management and employee development and empowerment related to direct subordinates.
• Manage financial resources for the division/department and provide inputs into budgeting process.
• Conduct research on new security technologies and develop security networks.
• Assist with security clearance for new employees.
• Conduct and assist with internal investigations.

The following minimum requirements should be met in order to be considered:

Qualifications:

• Matric.
• Grade A or B PSIRA Security Certificate.
• Diploma or Degree related to Security/Risk or Business management.
• PSIRA Registration.

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Security/Risk or Business Management.
• Minimum of 3 years' management experience.
• Must have no criminal records.
• Valid code EB Driver’s Lincence with own reliable transport.

Requisite Functional Competencies:

• Computer literacy in MS Office package.
• Knowledge and understanding of legal framework related to security and or /control systems, latest security trends, and developments within Psira and security strategy
