Senior Administrative Officer, Purchases and Stores (EDU) at Limpopo Department of Education

Salary: R 413,001.00 per annum

Key Performance Areas

• Render purchases and prepare purchase orders.
• Obtain quotations from suppliers, compare prices and recommend suppliers.
• Maintain record of incoming and outcoming materials.
• Monitor stock levels, conduct periodic physical verifications and report discrepancies.
• Prepare monthly reports on purchases, stock consumption and balances.

Prerequisites

• NQF level 6 qualification as recognised by SAQA.
• A qualification/s in Accounting/Supply Chain Management/ Logistics or relevant qualification will be an added advantage.
• Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in the Supply Chain Management environment or related field.
• A valid driver’s licence except for people with disabilities

Person Profile

• Knowledge of PFMA, Treasury Regulations. Computer literacy: Ms word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook. Ability to compile report.
• Strong communication skills, (written and verbal), good interpersonal skills, problem solving skills, plaining and organizational skills. Good record keeping.
