Senior Administrator at CAPRISA

Job Description    

The successful incumbent will join the CAPRISA team based at the Springfield Clinical Research Site in Durban.

Applicants are advised that CAPRISA has implemented a mandatory COVID-19 vaccination policy and all appointees will need to be vaccinated at commencement of employment.

Minimum Requirements    

1. Grade 12
2. Degree or Diploma in Administration or Business Administration
3. At least 3 to 5 years administrative experience, with previous supervisory experience
4. Ability to set up and maintain administrative systems
5. Experience in income and expenditure control
6. Experience handling petty cash
7. Minute taking experience
8. High level of computer literacy with proficiency in MS office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook)
9. Knowledge of SAP

2. Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
3. Ability to work independently, without direct supervision and fit in well within a multi-disciplinary team

Duties & Responsibilities    

1. Provide administrative support to the site
2. Procurement
3. Assist with telephonic tracking of participants
4. Coordinate events and meetings 
5. Facilitate travel arrangements
6. Assist site with Occupational Health and Safety
7. Assist with fleet management schedules and maintenance of records
8. Assist site with equipment and facilities maintenance and services
9. Manage COVID 19 protocols in the office
